CGIL Milan, the categories present in the Chamber of Labour Archives of the work in Sesto San
John
An exhibition, consisting of two shows, which start from a common assumption: the delivery
to artists and performers, something to consider, to be transformed.
In the first case (the photo exhibition organized by the Chamber of Labour Metro
Milan) on "something" given is the actual place of action of the CGIL. A place that was
visited, studied and investigated in its forms and in people who live and returned to
collective vision on the part of twenty-eight photographers.
In the second case (the exhibition of artist's books created and proposed by Agesol in
collaborazione con la CGIL milanese) un testo, La custode, è stato trasformato dalle mani di
ventitre tra artiste e artisti. Non a caso il testo è di Sonia Savioli, fotografa ufficiale della
Camera del lavoro dal 1981 al 1986.
